Cosmic Compositions

Music is another major influence and interest since my younger days. In high school I was in a typical garage band while also a member of the school concert choir. While I didn’t appreciate the Latin I was singing at the time, that form of music is now one of my favorites.

With the help of some friends and lots of online tutorials, I began to make my own computer-generated music. The main tools I use is Sony Acid and FL Studio, both of which are wonderful programs that allow anyone to make their own music.

During my recovery from the Fire Department electrocution injury, I submersed myself in both my art and music. Not being very mobile, I spent many hours making music that both expressed the pain I was feeling and the hope I was holding onto.

Low Earth Orbit

This features radio traffic from space. It fascinates me to think that at this very moment people are living and working in space.

Elsewhere

A world piece, this reminds me that we are all one people, one species on this planet. Elsewhere, someone is smiling.

Breath of Night

This is what I imagine dead voices filtering through stone graves sound like. This is best heard at night with the lights down low.

Circle of Iron

This is dedicated to one of my favorite films, “Circle Of Iron”. This movie could very well be a biography of a former life.

Dark

During my recovery from being injured in the Fire Dept, I fell into a deep depression (which would be later identified as PTSD) that kept me up into the late hours. This piece is a personification of that time of darkness.

Isolation Days

Written during the early days of the Pandemic, I remember the long days and getting used to the relative isolation from others. I discovered a lot about myself during this time.

Machine Tears

If machines had feelings this is what it would sound like (more so when they are thrown away).

Water: Extended Version

This was created while I was in Croatia, staying in a loft along the coast of the Adriatic Sea. The element of water is like my Yin while Fire is my Yan.

My interpretation of driving at night under city lights and becoming a part of the skyline.
